Running Strong While Social Distancing

OXAC has always maintained a strong distance and marathon running community supported by Anthony De Castella and other passionate coaches. We find ourselves encountering the unknown world of running as the terms ‘social distancing’ and ‘social isolation’ work their way into our everyday vocabulary.

We are introduced to running without the constant ‘banter’ of those around us; running without the motivation of a post-weekend run coffee catch up; running without the physical interaction of our training group and coach every Tuesday around the Xavier Ovals or local running tracks; running without our training groups saying ‘just one last rep.’

However, we want to keep this running community strong. We want to see your runs – Virtually! Share your runs with each other – support one another. Join our OXAC Strava running community – where we can [virtually] encourage strong running within our community and beyond!
