A strong contingent from the OXAC women’s team fought the headwinds on Beach Rd in the Carman’s Women’s Fun Run. In the 10k, Sarah Costi ran a negatively split race for 51st (46:12), Bianca Graham continued her run of form to take 21st in 42:23, while Sue Hinckfuss was 5th in her age group with 43:20. Christy Bonstelle and Maragaret Fitzgerald did their best to treat the half marathon as a training run, but nevertheless run a solid 1:46:24. A fine brunch afterwards at Jack the Geezer’s was enjoyed by all. Full results here.
