Athletics Victoria has managed to get track and field competition kicked off for the 2020/21 season with a reduced format shield league. So far, just a few committed OXAC members have been out there waving the flag, with Bob Meek scoring points in such unfamiliar events as the long jump and 200m. With more events coming from AV and other organisations such as VMC and High Velocity, we’re looking forward to a steady uptick in competitive opportunities as 2021 approaches.
